Vice President, Global Services

Position Summary:

3esi-Enersight is an international software company headquartered in Calgary that provides business solutions to the global oil and gas market. We are seeking a full-time Senior Executive to provide leadership and sound decision making to achieve the next level of growth and profitability for the company.

The Vice President- Global Services will lead our Global Solutions team to ensure client satisfaction, quality delivery of our solutions, and efficient utilization of our global services bench. This Vice President will have responsibility for growing and managing a high-performing Global Services delivery team. Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and steward the Global Services operation to achieve key results and metrics
  • Excel in client and vendor relationship management with International and Fortune 500 Global Companies
  • Ability to influence client’s strategic direction based on established business objectives demonstrated ability to manage key client negotiations
  • Review and approve high value Contract Negotiations, negotiate contracts with global delivery centers and third-party service providers; manage and evaluate high value Proposals, RFP’s & SOW’s
  • Own and create service processes and improvements as driven by our client’s needs and implementation best practices
  • Establish and institutionalize standard consulting business practices, processes and templates
  • Manage the global services budget and strategic planning processes for the Global Services organization
  • Provide necessary board and operational management reporting, which includes: revenue forecasts, resource assignments, utilization, project status summaries
  • Continue to define, build and execute a project management capability for our service delivery team which includes owning the service roadmap, implementation and delivery of the platform to clients
  • Ensure high quality delivery of solutions and customer support to our clients
  • Support pre-sales activities and establish statement of work engagements, identifying gaps and improvements through the sales to go-live
  • Develop a high functioning customer success organization

Key Competencies:

  • Must display leadership qualities and effectively manage relationships with Fortune 600 client executives and vendors
  • Deep upstream oil and gas knowledge in the planning and portfolio space; knowledge of energy asset modelling including economic evaluation and capital modelling and optimization strategies
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Ability to think effectively and collaboratively for the benefit of all stakeholders
  • Direct multiple concurrent delivery teams and related relationships with each functional and geographic area
  • Previous international experience with management of end to end project delivery
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to think through details and tactics without losing sight of overall strategic goals
  • Discipline to follow and enforce established processes, while maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high growth, innovative, and hands on environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of progressive Consulting or Services experience in an International capacity
  • Strong knowledge of risk analytics and value chain optimization
  • University Degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. MBA, or other advanced degree desired
  • 30% International travel required
