Value Maximization in Upstream Oil and Gas Planning and Execution

Since the commodity’s resurgence in 2009, upstream oil and gas operators have enjoyed sustained high oil prices, and all of the associated benefits. With better than expected returns, investors have been happy, and even with less than efficient attainment of the production promised in their business plans, individual companies and the industry overall have enjoyed significant growth. High oil prices have also come at a cost for operators in upstream oil and gas, and that cost has not necessarily been obvious.
